About The Event

Introduction and Purpose:  Quality Counts California (QCC) is a statewide system of locally-implemented quality improvement systems (QIS), to connect providers, parents and families to high-quality early learning and care programs and systems, and ensures that infants, toddlers, and preschool-age children have quality early learning experiences in their local communities. QCC Tribal Region 11 was developed specifically for Tribal Child Care and can provide resources and support to Tribal early learning and care providers and programs so they can help enhance culturally-relevant and appropriate early learning and care that will help children to grow and thrive.

The Tribal Child Care Association of California (TCCAC) is the lead for QCC Tribal Region 11.  We are able to support Tribal early learning and care through individualized support, resources, training and technical assistance, mini-grants to enhance quality in your early learning programs, opportunities to network and learn together and to outreach to other CA QCC consortia, regional hubs, trainers, and coaches available at the local level to align equitable access for Tribal Child Care and Tribal early learning programming.

Please join us to kick off this monumental event for California Tribes!  ALL CA Tribal CCDF Programs and Tribal Early Learning Programs – NOT JUST CENTERS are welcome to participate in the CA Tribal QCC/QIS. (This Celebration and Conference allows for 1 participant per Tribe, travel and lodging expenses will be reimbursed by TCCAC – if we have more spaces available, we will gladly offer additional spots on a first-come basis to registered participants).  During this exciting kickoff event you will be in a beautiful location in the heart of Winters, CA—not your typical venue—but a serene setting, surrounded by nature, friends and experts in the field to help us frame the opportunities ahead for Tribal Child Care in CA!

Hotel information and details are pending  - we will send you hotel information updates soon!  (you will need to leave a credit/debit card for the reservation confirmation for incidentals and to secure the room)  TCCAC will pay for one persons sleeping room per each CA Tribal Early Care and Education program.
